Tesgo Tubey’s ‘definitions to know’:

  • Initial Permeability - A property of a material that describes the ease with which a magnetic flux is established in the component at very low magnetic field strength
  • Curie Temp -The temperature at which ferrite looses it’s permanent magnetism
  • Saturation Fulx Density - Saturation flux density is how much magnetic flux the ferrite core can handle before becoming saturated and not able to hold any more.
  • Resistivity - The measure of resistance to current flow in a material
