The indexable 4-sided 1” OD-scarfing inserts (Series 86) from Kent Corporation are best suited for heavy wall tubes and pipes. The inserts are bolted to the tool holder with a hex head cap screw. Available in various radii and either uncoated, multi-layer TiN coated or coated with a ceramic multilayer TiAl coating for maximum durability!
